Ellsworth Rotary Club Providing Free KidCare Profiles

Community involvement abounded at Child and Family Opportunities, Inc. this past week of May 2008. On May 12, 2008 Ellsworth Police Officer Bart Tokas was on site checking car seat installment for parents. This was a complimentary service to CFO families and opportunity to learn more about car seat safety.

On Tuesday, May 13, 2008 three members of the Ellsworth Rotary Club, Iris Simon, Ellagene and Ward Holler were at the Ellsworth Early Care and Education Center to provide free KidCare profiles. KidCare Photo ID is part of a national campaign by The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to increase awareness about missing children and educate families about steps they can take to help protect their children.

The purpose of the KidCare ID program is to give parents a free, instant photograph of your child, which includes current vital statistics. The KidCare Photo ID gives parents "peace of mind" to know that they will have all the appropriate information available if their child is lost or abducted.

Thank you to both collaborators for assisting Child and Family Opportunities, Inc. in providing helpful and pertinent services to families in Ellsworth.
