Catchment: Ellsworth, Trenton, Hancock, Surry, Otis, Mariaville, Eastbrook, Waltham, Franklin, Blue Hill
Enrollment characteristics: Six classrooms. Three classrooms are for preschoolers, 3 and 4 year olds. Three are for infants and toddlers aged 6 weeks to 3 years. Slots are for children needing full-day Head Start/child care, Early Head Start/child care or private pay child care. Ellsworth also has Preschool Head Start only slots available. The administrative offices for the agency are housed with the child care center.

Schedule: 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Directions: From Bangor I-395, take the exit for Ellsworth/Bar Harbor (Rt. 1A). Follow Rt. 1A into Ellsworth until you come to an intersection with a traffic light (Dunkin Donuts will be on the right). Continue down Route 1A (High Street), straight through 3 sets of traffic lights (not counting the one at Dunkin Donuts). Take a right turn at the fourth set of lights - this is the Beechland Road. Avery Lane will be on your right directly after a large, well-landscaped brick church (Latter Day Saints). The Center and Administrative Office is on the left; a yellow building with bright colored trim.
